easy chair
RARI NANTES (cm.52l.x55p.x75h.)
1989

This easy-chair, made out of painted tubular steel, formally consists of four round volutes having same radius but the centre of which has geometrically been progressively pushed outwards, so that the upper curves form a comfortable and wrapping inclined back. The first one, on top, has got two downwards curved extensions forming the front legs of the chair, while in the lower curve is enclosed a steel sheet covered with black expanded neoprene, forming an anti-slip seat. The only back leg of this chair is welded to the rear side of the seat, but an other and more solid version is provided, where a fourth leg has been included, which, stiffening the sole back one, makes this object more resistant to maltreatments due to possible
