“….shouldn’t they were witty clocks – complete with perfectly working quartz devices – they might be small boxes containing common places, probably extrapolated from Minnie Mouse’s living room (but certainly inspired by its playful aesthetics). They are, instead, and unmistakably – even when considered for their precise function – nowadays gadgets, members in every respect of that family of objects located on the borderline between fashion and design, whose relationship one can detect from the shape of their little feet, from their ears, their cusps, from their chromatic combinations, their slim bodies and whatever tastes plexiglass….”
