A carpet/tapestry inspired by còrbulas - the traditional baskets intertwined and decorated in the Sardinian plains of Campidàno – and entirely woven with natural wool by the artisan textile workshop SARTAPP, according to the technique “a pibiònes” (thick grains), on a hand loom, combining with executive virtuosity the orthogonality of warp and weft with a pattern geometrically built on concentric and concatenated circular shapes. It will be on stage at TESSìNGIU, 55th exhibition of Sardinian arts and crafts, in Samughéo (Sardinia, Italy), village of textile arts, from July 30th to August 21st, 2022.
