Following to the success of the 2008/09 edition of the Restaurant and Bar Design Awards (where Pierluigi Piu obtained two nominations), it became clear that many international designers are responsible for the creation of cutting edge restaurants and bars not only in the UK, but also globally. The award organizers, therefore, identified an exclusive opportunity to launch a website dedicated to highlighting this international contribution. Such website benefits of the reports of a worldwide group of leading design magazines and media that have a professional interest in Restaurant and Bar design. Contributors are by invitation only and their role will be to contribute up to 10 projects a year on a country by country basis. Pierluigi Piu is part of a panel of leading and innovatory hospitality architects, designers, journalists, operators and personalities worldwide who have been invited to give their comments on specific designs on a rotational basis. The best projects may also be entered into the Restaurant and Bar Design Awards competition.
